Clare and Nako

Clare and Nako got married on top of a Volcano. On an island in the middle of the Pacific Ocean. I know, right? They travelled to Hawaii’s big island from Chicago and shared their beautiful vows only with each other, if you don’t count me and Cheryl. The officiant. After their first dance at the Volcano House bar they drove to a nearby Thai restaurant for their first meal as a married couple. Nako and I worked together last year, so I knew we got along really well. And it was a pleasure to get to know Clare and see how equally charming and sweet she was. I’ve had the honor of traveling to a handful of exotic places for weddings, but this one is up there, both literally and figuratively. However, the otherworldly setting took a back seat to the joy I got from just being able to share such an incredible experience with these two special people. Thank you, Clare and Nako.
