Nina and Todd

Nina and Todd got married in the middle of nowhere. I lost cell service 20 minutes before I arrived at Akwissasne in upstate New York. The property is full of history, and the isolation helps make the compound feel even more like a time capsule. Nina and I studied photography together, and I’ve always admired her work. On the wedding day she took tons of (amazing) pictures herself, but I was still feverishly trying to be her eyes for the day. The role was an impossible task, but I loved the process, and I loved the pictures we got. Finally meeting Todd exceeded expectations. I was so familiar with his face it felt a little like meeting a celebrity. These two are perfect for each other. Congratulations, Nina and Todd!
