Ellis’ nursery is ocean-themed. His middle name is a local beach. His parents love the sea and are hell-bent on making sure their son does, too. If we don’t manufacture every component of Ellis’ destiny then who will? He was born in the winter, so Ellis didn’t make his first trip to the beach (at least one where he was awake) until he was four months old. I’m not sure he completely understood all the fun that awaits him in the coming years, but I saw him eyeing the sand. He’s going to love eating it.
