Brooke and I are homeowners. We celebrated the night of the closing with champagne and Billy’s Roast Beef in our new kitchen. The past two weeks have been spent unpacking and turning what was (before signing all those papers) a very vague idea into a real home. It’s going to take some time, but we already feel so comfortable here. The neighbors are wonderful, and we’ve spent more time exploring Melrose and continue to like it more and more. Which is good. Because we won’t be going anywhere for the next 30 years : )
