Brooke and I had three Thanksgivings this year. All within a week. We started with the Stonehill Thanksgiving that is a gathering of Brooke’s college friends and one of the highlights of my year. This year the host, Kate, wrote a toast on the back of her wedding invitations from three years ago. It was really sweet. The very next day we went to our friends Zev and Maureen’s house for their “Friendsgiving”. We had a great time with all their charming friends and ate some of the best bird I’ve ever tasted. It was the first turkey they ever made! And then there was the always-special Thanksgiving at Brooke’s dad’s house. It’s where an impossible amount of food ends up being just enough. I always get a good feeling walking in and seeing all the crock pots lined up.
I Can’t wait for Christmas. We have at least two of those planned.
