Everybody hopes that their wedding goes as planned. But, sometimes the universe has bigger and better plans. Meg and Brian’s wedding at Pats Peak was already made special by the beautiful background and the fact that it is a place that means a lot to the two of them. However, when the power went out and the fire alarm came on just before the cake cutting, what seemed like a disruption actually turned into one of the coolest wedding receptions I’ve been a part of. Meg and Brian cut the cake outside and some people sang songs before the the DJ set up a guest’s car to amplify the music for the parent dances on the deck. It was magical. Thank goodness for disrupted plans.
